My Little Pony inspired look :) :)

Hello my wacky little watermelons!

I dunno why, but suddenly I find myself super inspired by old school cartoons and the like. I think it’s because of all the bright colors 🙂 I had the idea to do a sort of throw back cartoon series a while ago but it never came to fruition because I wasnt a hundred percent sure how to go about it. But..better late than never I suppose 🙂

Today  I found myself drawn to “My Little Pony”. But circa the early 1980s of course. I looked through tons of pictures today and the more I looked at them the more I noticed a re-occurring theme of pastels. Baby pinks, blues, and purples most of all.

So I came up with this: To achieve this look I busted out my trusty Coastal Scents 88 palette and my NYX jumbo eye pencil in the shade MILK.

I don’t know if you guys are familiar with this now  infamous eyeshadow pencil but I LOVE IT. I use the pencil or my b**** slap cosmetics corrector every single time I want to create a very colorful vibrant eye look. It always does the job. Once you get used to the consistency and figure out how much you need to properly achieve the look without the product creasing there will be no stopping you. NYX makes a ton of them but I have yet to be super adventurous with the other colors at this point. But that’s not to say I never will 🙂 SIDENOTE: I swear I use more than just NYX products…I will post more reviews and swatches of some soon. I’m thinking I will do one on both the Urban Decay naked palettes so you guys can see the differences between the two. If that’s something you would be interested in just let me know in the comments section 🙂

I hope you guys had a wonderful easter and thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my blog. Dont forget to subscribe! 🙂
